Photoshop composite using planes from Rise of Flight and parts of several different images combined to create a seamless new image. Composition is a mirror of Ferris' "Farmer's Nightmare".

I've depicted Jasta 2 with Boelcke in the foreground and MvR in the near background. Of all my research there is really no image or art that has the two of them together. I thought for sure I'd find a painting of the two together, but wasn't able. We know they flew together and were together when Boelcke died, but not much more is known of them when flying with Jasta 2. This could be Boelcke's final flight or days before, my thought was they had just finished a sortie and were lining up to prep for the next flight. At the very least it's an autumn day when Richthofen and Boelcke shared the sky... enjoy.
